Educational Qualification
– The candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks in the concerned subject. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the Graduate or Master’s level for the SC/ST/PWD categories for eligibility. Eligibility like M.Phil./Ph.D./Seminar Papers/Publications can be acquired and submitted on the date of the interview and not beyond.
– The educational qualification and selection procedure will be as per Govt. O.M. No. AHE.239/2021/68 dated 24.01.2022 with NET/SLET/SET as mandatory eligibility conditions. Candidates having a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Ph.D. Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
Residentship
The candidates must be from the State of Assam and must know the local language. In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel with NOC obtained from the concerned authority.
