The Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Assam Skill University Project, an Assam Government initiative financed by the Asian Development Bank, has released an employment notification for the recruitment of Procurement Specialist, Skill Manager, and Executive Posts. Recruitment Details
1. Senior Contract and Procurement Specialist
Age Limit: Maximum age of 62 years as on 16.08.2024
– Candidates with a ‘Professional Diploma in Public Procurement’ (PDPP), Certificate Program in Public Procurement (CPPP), or Certificate in Contract Management Program (CPCM) will be preferred.
Experience:
– Minimum 15 years of professional experience in public procurement, contract management, and related activities in State Government, Central Government, Semi-Government Bodies, PSUs, or large private organizations.
– At least 12 years of experience as a procurement and contract management official in Externally Aided Projects (Asian Development Bank, World Bank, JICA, etc.), with at least 7 years in the rank of expert/specialist. The candidate must be familiar with ADB’s procurement rules and regulations and have experience in procurement for any ADB project.
2. Senior Skill Manager
Age Limit: Maximum age of 62 years as on 16.08.2024
Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in Engineering.
Experience:
– Minimum 15 years of professional industrial experience with at least 5 years of experience in industrial training.
– Preference will be given to candidates with experience in setting up laboratories or workshops in educational or skill development institutions.
3. Communication Executive
Age Limit: Maximum age of 38 years as on 16.08.2024 (relaxable for exceptionally talented candidates with relevant experience).
Educational Qualification:
– Essential: Graduate/ PG Diploma in Mass Communication/Journalism/Media.
– Desirable: Certificate course in graphic designing.
Experience:
– At least 3 years of experience in graphic design, content writing, communication, public relations, events, journalism, or related areas is desirable.
4. Procurement Executive
Age Limit: Maximum age of 38 years as on 16.08.2024 (relaxable for exceptionally talented candidates with relevant experience).
Educational Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate from any Govt. recognized University in any subject.
Experience:
– At least 5 years of experience in public procurement-related functions, with a minimum of 3 years as a procurement executive in Asian Development Bank, World Bank, JICA, or any Externally Aided Projects.
– Mandatory experience with Assam Govt. eProcurement portal (assamtenders.gov.in), SPPP Portal, and GeM portal.
