The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is an entrance or qualifying test for admission into various undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions of India. The National Testing Agency of India conducted the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test NEET (UG), 2024 on 5th May 2024.

NEET Result Date
The NEET (UG) – 2024 was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 5th May 2024 from 02:00 to 05:20 P.M. (IST) at 4750 centres in 571 cities (including 14 cities abroad) for more than 24 lakh candidates. The result of the NEET (UG) – 2024 was declared on 4th June 2024.
Pursuant to the Order dated 13.06.2024 of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in W.P. (Civil) No. 368 of 2024, a Re-Test was held for 1563 candidates on 23rd June 2024 from 02.00 P.M. to 05.20 P.M., out of which a total of 813 candidates appeared. The result of the Re-test of NEET (UG) – 2024 was declared on 30th June 2024.
Pursuant to the order dated 18th July 2024 of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in W.P. (Civil) No. 335 of 2024, the NTA has published the result of the NEET (UG)-2024. The result has been published State/City/Centre-wise, indicating the marks obtained by candidates without disclosing their identities.
As per the data shared by NTA, a total of 9,96,393 male candidates, 13,31,321 female candidates, and 17 transgender candidates appeared for the exam.
Region-wise, Uttar Pradesh had the highest number of candidates at 3,39,125, followed by Maharashtra at 2,79,904 and Rajasthan at 1,96,139. Tamil Nadu saw 1,55,216 registrations, and Karnataka had 1,54,210.
In 2023, a total of 20,87,449 candidates registered for NEET-UG, and the exam was held on May 7. The NTA recorded 97.7 percent attendance in the exam.

The candidates who appeared in the NEET (UG), 2024 exam held on 5th May 2024 may now check their results from the official web portal. Candidates may follow the below-mentioned steps to check their results:
