SIRISH Scholarship

The Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare, Assam is the implementing body of the Department of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare. The Directorate implements a variety of schemes across a wide spectrum ranging from scholarships for school/college-going students, skills & entrepreneurship, start-up grants-in-aid for self-employment activities, grants-in-aid to women SHGs etc. Every year, the Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare accepts online applications for various scholarship and incentive schemes through its official portal SIRISH.

How to Apply for SIRISH Scholarship?

Candidates who are eligible as per the official guidelines issued by the Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare, Assam will be able to submit online applications at the official SIRISH portal within the last date of application. For the ease of our users, we have compiled a list of steps to be followed to complete the application process of SIRISH. Candidates can follow the following steps to complete their application process.

  1. Scroll down, and check the Important Link section.
  2. Click on the Online Application Link.
  3. Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser.
  4. In that portal, you will get the option to register yourself.
  5. After registration, you will get your login details.
  6. After that, you will have to click on the Applicant Login option.
  7. Now, a login form will load. In that form, enter your login details and click on the Login button.
  8. After successful login, you will see your Dashboard.
  9. Now, click on the option of the scheme you want and fill in the required details.
  10. After that, you have to upload the required documents.
  11. At last, verify all the filled details and submit your application.
  12. Also, you will receive an acknowledgement copy of your submission. Keep that acknowledgement copy for future use.

Important Dates of SIRISH Assam

  • Application Start Date: 1st July 2024
  • Application Last Date: 15th August 2024

As of now, the official notification has been issued for the Pre-Matric Scholarship and Simon Sing Horo Special Post-Matric Scholarship. Therefore, candidates can submit applications for these two scholarships only between 1st July and 15th August 2024. We will update the application dates for other scholarship schemes accordingly after the issuance of the official notifications.
