The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will shortly organize a Computer Based Examination for the recruitment of approximately 3712 Group C posts in the cadre of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Data Entry Operator Grade A, and Data Entry Operator (DEO) under the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Exam 2024. The SSC CHSL Exam is scheduled to be held from 1st to 11th July 2024 as per the SSC Exam Calendar 2024.

Candidates applying for the Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination, 2024 can now download the admit card for the examination. Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps to download their admit card:

  1. Scroll down, go to the Important Web-Link’s section.
  2. Click on the SSC Admit Card link.
  3. Enter your login credentials i.e. Registration ID & Date of Birth.
  4. Next, click on the “Submit” button.
  5. Your SSC Admit Card will be downloaded.
  6. Take a printout of the same for future reference.

Scheme of Examination

Candidates who applied online for the Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Exam and found eligible will have to appear in Computer Based Examinations to be held in two tiers:

  • Tier-I
  • Tier-II

Marks scored by candidates in Computer Based Examinations, if conducted in multiple shifts, will be normalized using the formula published by the Commission and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.

Tier I (Computer Based Examination)

The Tier-I Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and any language opted by the candidate in the application form.

  • Geometry: Elementary geometric figures and facts including Triangles and its various kinds of centers, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, tangents, angles subtended by chords of a circle, common tangents to two or more circles.
  • Mensuration: Triangle, Quadrilaterals, Regular Polygons, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemispheres, Rectangular Parallelepiped, Regular Right Pyramid with triangular or square base.

General Awareness: Questions designed to test the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society, including knowledge of current events and everyday observations and experiences in their scientific aspect, especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General policy, and scientific research relating to India and its neighboring countries.

Tier II (Computer Based Examination)

Candidates who qualify for SSC CHSL Tier I will have to appear in SSC CHSL Tier II, which consists of two sessions, each with specific sections.
